Thank you Hans. I hear it was you that facilitated John coming to speak. If I had been asked to suggest someone it would have been someone else and they would have been second best. I have spawned a couple of generations of Discus and consider myself fairly knowledgeable. I usually shy away from talks on "the basics". These generally put me to sleep.

John was fantastic and I would ship this message off to him if I could. He does cover the basics but gives you a bit of why and alternatives. He throws in some fish room/house tips. He is VERY personable and quite entertaining. Thanks again for getting him for us.

Not to mention thanks for the donations. Hopefully things are looking up in the Dutchmans Discus facility.

PS. I guess the only complaint anyone could make is that your lovely wife stayed home. Tel her she was missed.
