Need Some Help....

I need some help.... I have some black and dark blue fish I'm having a hard time shooting. Anyone got any tricks?

All I've got is a point and shoot coolpix 5400. Macro lense.... etc. No remote flash.

Any ideas?

I don't know how I misssed this???? Sorry Sarah. I should have jumped in ten days ago.

Dark fish are tuff for sure. Before I was shooting with flash, I would add extra light over the tank and shoot without the flash. Problem there is you have to have a very steady hand because you have to slow the shutter speed down too. But, the best colors are accomplished that way.

Without remote flash, I think the above mentioned method is your best bet. Add lots of overhead light.
