Here are pics of two fish that I took when I traveled to the Tennessee Aquarium last year. I'm pretty new to Cichlids, but I'm still embarrassed to admit that I'm not sure whether these are Cichlids. If they are, would someone kindly identify them for me?

Here's the first. The next message will have the second.

Thanks!

Chuck

They look like Flowerhorns or some kind of Chilasoma to me.

Hi Ken,

You're right, at least about the second pic. After your message, I googled "Amphilophus cintrinellus" and came up with this page (http://www.gcca.net/fom/Cichlasoma_citrinellum.htm) that has a pic of Cichlasoma citrinellum (aka Midas Cichlid or Red Devil) that is very similar to the fish in my second pic above.

I'm not sure, though, about the first fish. You think that's also a Red Devil?

Thanks! :D

Chuck,
The Red Devil" comes in a number of colors, and the red and white is one of them, very nice fish.
Thanks,
Daniel
