Eric_Bodrock.jpg
Eric reveals the “secrets†of what he did to spawn some of the hobby’s coolest fish, such as, Hypancistrus zebra L46, Synodontis schoutedeni, Ivanacara adoketa, Hemiloricaria sp. L10a “Red Lizardâ€, Tatia intermedia, Peckoltia sp. L134 “Leopard Frogâ€, Sewellia lineolata “Hillstream Loachesâ€, Notropis chrosomus “Rainbow Shiners†and more.
Eric has been interested in fishkeeping since age 10 when his Mother brought home five Corydoras paleatus, which spawned and started the adventure! By age 20 he had opened his first retail store, and has operated three since then, and continues to operate All Oddball Aquatics. Eric has been active in the Greater Pittsburgh Aquarium Society, Inc. since the mid 70's and at the end of 2007, finally reached the title of "Grand Master Breeder", spawning more than 400 species of fish, including over 60 Corydoradinae species, and accumulated over 4,500 points in the club's Breeders Award Program (BAP) program. Along with his girlfriend, Regina Spotti, they maintain about 120 aquariums at their home and continue to work with many species of fish, with Corys still his focus. Eric has judged dozens of fish shows, has given numerous presentations and attended events throughout the USA, Norway, Germany and the UK. His highlight in the hobby has been getting to be such good friends with so many great hobbyists thru out the world
