IT'S BACK!!!!! CCAFFL Season 2

I have just finished setting up the Fantasy Football league. Hopefully, everyone that played last year will automatically receive an invitation to this year's league. If you didn't supply your e-mail last year, then you won't get a private invite. I will wait until August 1st to allow those who participated last year to join, at that time I will open it up to everyone. There will be at least 2 more teams available for new comers. I don't want to go bigger than 12 teams. If there is enough interest, I will start a second league identical to the first.

I made some changes to the league. More bonuses, one more flex position to play, 2 more bench slots. Same playoff format. The draft will again be on Labor Day, at 8:30 pm.

Anyone who played last year-let me know that you received your invitation to join. If not, I'll have to figure out what I did (or didn't) do.

Remember to draft your defense early there are only ten really good defenses out there and you don't want to be stuck with the deadskins for a defense.

I also just checked Yahoo because it said the draft was at 5:30 and I rushed back from Virginia Beach to be here at 5:30 only to remember that friggin Yahoo runs on west coast time, Idiots! I should have paid closer attention. Duh!

I did my homework over the weekend for our Draft and I believe I came out pretty good.:D

Last year, my draft was average, but I used gorilla tactics and strategies to over come the odds and almost win it all. I came in Second last year and I'm proud of it because it was my very first Fantasy Football league.

I tell ya what, I learned a lot last year, but this year is going to be better!

When you play Fantasy Football, you look at the NFL with a completely different perspective.

I have a lot more respect for teams like Oregon State, Va Tech and Pitt for adding the non-BCS powers to their schedules when teams like Ohio State and Alabama are afraid of them. Didn't work out very well for my Panthers, but that's because Wannstedt is an idiot offensively speaking. Now Boise just needs to run the table and hope that Va Tech does too, 'cause an 8-4 Va Tech does Boise no good come BCS title time.

OK, no one complained about it, and a few people liked the idea, so I went ahead and changed it. So there will now be 6 playoff teams, and the playoffs will start a week sooner and will run weeks 14-16.

A reminder-you can make 5 moves a week, and a total of 30 for the season.

Season starts tomorrow-good luck to everyone! May the injury bug bite meekly.

Dude, did you know that I went to the Championship match last year with the Predator? Of course you didn't. Did you know that I battled it out with our favorite Red Head through out the playoffs and prevailed to our Super Bowl? Of course not. Even though Mr. Killie (Predator) beat me (He had the better team), it was a heck of a game. Exciting even!


Nevertheless, it was not only the confidence I had in myself by trash talking, but making calculated decisions on who the right players were for each game on every Sunday. That was the coolest thing.

And ya know what, I did pretty dag on good.:p I did a lot of trash talking last year and I always won. At one point I was undefeated for over 7 games I think. Is that right Joel?

Nonetheless, I know I lost my first game, but hey, even the best of us miscalculate. However, I promise you one thing, in our next rematch...I'm coming out on top.:lol: As for my prancing peecock michelle...LOL!:eek::lol: Just kidding mikey, We shall see who's wearing a red skirt.;)

I found the ledge, walked out, and decided that if you are comfortable being a prancer, then I can live with losing to one.

I've been so busy I haven't even had a chance to really enjoy any football yet, and now I see that I am not getting to see the Steeler game today, unless the listing is wrong-and they sometimes do change it at game time so I still have hope.
