I took the liberty of setting up a Fantasy Football League for the CCA. Someone said in another thread that we should have done it, I say there's still time, so I did it. The league is basicly copied from another league I am in, with a few tweeks. You have to be signed on to Yahoo! to play. Go here:

There is room for 12 teams. We will need at least 8 teams to make it interesting. The draft is TOMORROW NIGHT AT 7:30 PM! You can have your team autopicked if you are not available. Just preset your player rankings ahead of time. I will do some final adjustments to the league when I see how many people are in. I will cut off the sign up for the league at 5:00 TOMORROW.

Once you draft, set your starting lineup-the season starts Thursday!

If you are not familiar with the draft, it is a snaking draft. That is, if you pick first in the first round, the order is reversed in the second round and you pick last in the second round, and then first again in the third round, etc. The draft order will be set randomly before the draft.

For those of you who are new to this, or who may be unaware, you can pick up undrafted players. Say you have 3 TEs on your roster, and you really need a QB and you see Joe Flacco still available, you could drop, say, Visanthe Shiancoe and pick up Flacco.:rolleyes:

Sometimes guys get hurt in this game! So all is not lost if you lose someone for the season. Especially in this league, with only 10 teams-lots of viable options still out there. I see at least a half dozen guys available who will be gone early in the season.

There may be one or two teams with a starting unit that equals or maybe slightly exceeds mine, but there is no team whose bench even approaches mine, and that is where these leagues are won, because you have to be able to deal with bye weeks and injuries.:D

My guys won, but I'm not happy-some very poor performances. In fact, I am benching my first round pick this week. LT won't have a chance against the Ravens D if the blocking is like it was last night! And Rodgers should have had a much better performance. He was high all night. YIKES!

And Brady cost me in my other league-he threw the ball away at the end of the first half when Welker was wide open in the end zone. He stinks!:D

We'll have to see. Filling Plaxicos place is a big spot to fill. How well a receiver does is hugely influenced by the QB. If Eli gets him involved I think hes going to have some good games.
