Okay ladies and gents, Discus Hans is opening his doors to us on August 29th from 11am to 3pm.

Thats right. Thousands of discus in one place to see, talk about, learn about, and purchase.

You get to see the filter system that Hans has set up to keep all these guys healthy.

You get to see how Hans does his water changes by simply turning a couple of valves.

You get to purchase the filter foam at a discounted price.

You get to meet up with some people from Simply Discus forum that are coming out of NY and CT to visit at the same time.

You get to purchase discus at a discounted price.

You get to show your spouse that your fish room could be the size of Hans'. lol

But most of all you get to talk fish. And who among us does not like to talk fish.

So schedule you day around this event.

This place is very easy to find. Less than a 1/4 mile from the end of Route 43. Take I95 to Md Rt43 east to the end.

Hi Guys,

I was home around 9:30pm

We had dinner with Mary, her son and Jerry. After that I had to RUSH Jerry to the airport and I think he just made it....although I think, he didn't call me after 8 so I'm sure he had his flight.

Mary, thanks for the dinner.

Back to the fish house, take care/feed the fishies and finally sit down for a moment. Pat told me he counted 54 people at one moment when more as 10 left already, so in total we had about 65 people.

I also want to thank Dan, you all have seen what a GREAT fish catcher he is.

Well, I'm am more than just a bit green - it looks like you guys had an awesome time!

Sure wish I coulda made this trip, I've wanted to try discus for many years but have never had the courage to do it. Instead of being there hanging out with the club I was helping Grandpa paint all of his exterior trim on the house which turned out better than expected but I was definitely thinking about you guys and what I was missing out on. I will make it up there one of these days to see all those awesome discus and learn how to go about setting up for them. Glad everyone had fun and thanks for the pictures!!!
