Is that a thursday? It sounds really interesting even though its in the dark side (VA is the dark side to us MDers, just like Lake Tang is to the Malawi people).

It is a Thursday. The two companies have been contracted to evaluate all the stream beds in Loudoun County to determine health and functionality. I think there will be more of these events but will only know for sure if there are more emails sent. I think its going to be worth leaving work early that day so I already put it on my boss's calendar that I am leaving at 230.

I would have to take most of the day off to make it down there in time, so I likely won't make it. Please post about future events though, because I love stuff like that. I participated in similar activities in college during my Freshwater ecology class.

Yeah, please do keep us posted! After the kids get out of school, I could do a weekday. I think they'd really enjoy something like that.

How do you get the email? I'm subscribed to the Loudoun Alert thingie... but didn't get that one.
