Let's just hope that the new management will include the advanced hobbyist in their business plan. Most fish stores fail to realize or can't compete with the online 'Fish (drug) Lords'. :D

 Hi! I've been to the Aquarium Depot twice this spring. They are still setting up. Many tanks are down. The plant section has not been stocked recently. (Oh No! Gloria the 'aquatic plant lady' is no longer there! Now where will I go for plant info???)

Yes! I do need a plant Guru. I have been getting most of my info from Gloria. With her gone the Aquarium Depot needs a plant specialist and MORE PLANTS! See you at the May CCA meeting. :D

While I have not been to Aquarium Depot yet (I did go to Aquarium Center a lot) my dad has been down there a number of times recently. And while he does not look at the fish (he never has), he sais the goods department has made a drastic improvement over the last month. Scuttlebut is, when the new owners bought the store, there was a LOT more debt at the settlement table then there was supposed to be, a lot of it to suppliers. So it will be a while before they are back up to what they used to be several years ago.
