Hello everyone. My name is Janelle. My fiance and I were referred to this club from an aquarium shop in Silver Spring. We've always been interested in cichlids, but we aren't allowed to keep a huge tank in our apartment. We have a 29 gallon community aquarium with Dwarf Gouramis, Platties, Mollies, and Guppies. My fiance found a good deal on a 6 gallon fluval edge. After doing some research we came across shell dwelling cichlids. The tank is set up and is cycling. We joined this Forum in hopes that we can find some multies or L. Ocellatus Gold. We will be attending the meeting this Saturday.

Welcome to the forum. Shellies are a great cichlid for small tanks. Rams and apistos are also good small tanks.

Shellies are so cool. We're still trying to find some. We'd prefer not to order them online.

It was nice to meet you at the meeting. IIRC, the Golden Wonder killifish I got in the auction came from you, correct? he's doing great in our planted 20 high in the kitchen.
