Way to go! Our own Pat Kelly swept the African Cichlid class at the Catfish Convention. He now owns a set of very nice glasses.

But remember that many of our members took home awards. I need to get a list from PVAS, but I know Francine won. Daniel won. Rodney won. Frank won. George won. Rick Mckay won Best in show......I know there were others.... Too tired to think right now.
Some with Cichlids and some with other fish. Wait, are there reallyother types of fish out there? :rolleyes:

Rodney also won the collecting trip to Peru. :angry: :P

Tracey and I would also like to thank those who came out to help with the hospitality suite.
She and I finally closed it down at about 3am this morning and then cleaned up and emptied it out so I could get 4 hours of sleep before bagging fish :wacko:
Thank you all for the support and I think we put our name out there to a lot of people from around the area along with the people from other countries.

I did see a lot of our members there. Some participating in the show, some seeing speakers, some buying fish. I had a room on the first floor by the pool, so it was great having a lot of people stopping by and talking. We had a great time.
I also talked to many people who did not know the club was around. Two will probably join at the next meeting so that was good also.
